We hit the beach yesterday with the gals. Stephanie coordinated a Zuma beach playdate. Nico loved it from the moment he got there. It was nice knowing I could let him run and there was little mischief to be found on the sandy shores. He kept screaming "agua!" at the sea. We sat in front of a cool old food stand. We saw a dolphin, well at least the adults did. Nico's fever kicked in while we were there so we had to cut the date a bit short, but it was well worth it. And it was only a 45 minute drive to the PCH. Thanks to Audrey, Deets and Will for sharing their snacks. Thanks for letting Nico hang with the big kids.

Naps have come to rule my new life as a mother. They give me just enough time to post on our adventures in parenthood and about the random things that inspire me. Here are some musings on being a mama and the two boys who made me one.
