We went for Nico's 18 month check up today. He got a clean bill of health and two shots. After the ER episode he seemed a bit nervous, but recovered quickly from the injections. He weighs 22lbs, 12oz. and is 33 inches tall. He is in the 10th percentile for weight and 75th for height. He's turning out to be a bean pole! The doctor was impressed with his vocabulary, which currently stands at around 20 words. We have a chatty cathy on our hands! I had fun with him today. We ate lunch together, sharing a burrito before his appointment. He fed me black beans and wiped my face with a napkin. I can't really explain the feeling, it's the most love I have ever felt. It makes me dizzy!
Post vaccine, Nico gets a lolly and I have to oblige.
At least its sugar free!
