We escaped the heat wave recently by ducking into our local mall in "beautiful downtown Burbank." I let Nico walk the entire mall as I chased behind him in and out of stores. He walked right into Old Navy, who had a group of mannequins standing as greeters upfront. Nico seemed so concerned for this little girl. He tried talking to her, pet her head, shook her, and finally gave her one good slap. " Snap out of it!" In the end Nico had to be carted away kicking and screaming while she just stood there staring.
